Every year the National Alliance to End Homelessness compiles statistics to illustrate the reality of homeless across the United States. In Washington State, rates of homelessness continue to rise and there is a shortage of affordable housing. We don't have enough low-income homes for people that have minimal income or who are on disability. Making more of these properties available would go a long way to helping decrease the homeless population.
